Specialist Pain Module (Medical)
Overview:
This evidence-based course is designed for anaesthetists, neurologists, pain specialists, OT staff and physicians.
In this course, you’ll….
- Discover the role of clinical hypnosis in acute and chronic pain management.
- Facilitate smooth transition in general anesthesia and improve surgical outcomes across the board.
- Manage anxiety in pre-operative patients;
- Develop drug free options for chronic pain;
- Treat functional and intractable pain;
- Enhance patient’s satisfaction and quality of treatment.
Upon completion you will receive a UK accredited Certificate and a minimum affiliate membership to the British Society of Clinical Hypnosis

- A course designed for overseas students.
- Most of the course will be available online via an online learning platform.
- Participants are required to attend a 4-day training for practical exposure.

Entry Requirement
Entry requirement:
Candidates must have a medical science qualification and have completed the Medical Certificate in Clinical Hypnosis.
Terms and Conditions
- Course fees include access to the appropriate learning platform for the duration of the course.
- Course notes become the property of the student upon full payment of the course fee. However, all course materials are subject to copyright and may not be used by anyone else without written permission.
- Students enters into an agreement to pay their full course fees when they register on to a course.
- Fees paid, either in full or part are not refundable.
- LCCH Asia and LSCCH reserve the right to alter, cancel, postpone and/or reschedule lessons and lectures.
- In the event of a non-commencement of a specific course, students registered onto that course will be transferred to an equivalent course within twelve months of enrolment. A refund of course fees will be offered if no equivalent course is provided within 12 months of enrolment.
- LCCH Asia and LSCCH holds the right to reject or suspend a student in the course of study for medical or ethical reasons. LCCH Asia and LSCCH will assume no liability in this matter.
- In the event of overdue fee payments, the Hypnosis and Training Solutions (M) Sdn Bhd and London College of Clinical Hypnosis Asia (LCCH Asia) reserves the right to suspend all academic services to the student until the payments are made. Reinstatement of the student incurs an administrative fee of USD$150
- If a student cannot complete the course into which they are registered, they remain liable for the course fees. They may however register onto the subsequent course (only) at the discounted fee of 50% the new courses fees.
- These conditions do not affect your statutory rights.
- Instalment Plan (if any) is subject to Admin Fee unless specifically waived by a promotional offer
- Prospective students are advised to select their choice of course carefully; change of course will only be permitted, subject to an administrative fee of USD$200
- LCCH Asia and LSCCH reserve the right to reject the student’s registration if in the opinion of LCCH Asia and LSCCH the student is not suitable / qualified for the course signed up. Specialist Pregnancy & Childbirth Module
Overview:
Clinical hypnosis may become a standard procedure in childbirth within the next ten years. This course is designed for obstetricians, medical doctors, midwives & clinical hypnotherapists.
In this course, you’ll…
- Learn how to reduce dependence of chemical analgesia (epidurals) and offer effective pain management through hypnosis;
- Learn ways to reduce labour and delivery time, enhance recovery and healing following delivery
- Be able to provide greater satisfaction and autonomy to mothers during the birthing process;
- Be able to facilitate better APGAR scores & reduce or remove the effect of anaesthesia on the baby;
- Provide better bonding with baby and reduce incidence of post-partum depression significantly .

Specialist Hypnodontics Module (Dental)
Overview:
The programme is designed for dental surgeons, dental nurses, hygienists, dental assistants and clinical hypnotherapists to manage stress, anxiety and resulting behaviours that affect oral care and patient comfort.
In this course, you’ll…
- Enhance rapport between patient and dentist, reduce dental anxiety and treat dental phobias;
- Reduce sensitive gag reflex, saliva production, bruxism, tongue thrusting and manage trigeminal neuralgia;
- Improve compliance to oral hygiene and increase tolerance to new prosthesis, dentures and implants;
- Enhance healing and recovery following procedure;
- Use hypnosis as an alternative to sedation and GA, and how it can be combined with nitrous oxide;
